Senior Account Manager

Your role

Your primary job is to drive programs forward alongside a Principal or Senior—becoming the backbone to the client relationship and larger teams. And growing them into long-term client relationships that allow us all to do the kind of strategic creative work that can have a continued impact on the world.

You’re someone who challenges the status quo. You’re always looking for new ways to push the brief and challenge the client. You’re a strategic thinker when it comes to project approach, team management, and growth for mid-sized programs ($500,000 - 1M pa). You have experience in launching brands, managing in-depth research and insight programs; and fluency with innovation, experience in other regions, geographies, markets as well as additional languages is a plus.

You are responsible for

  • Driving the program and the team, bringing constructive direction and a point of view to the content
  • Proactively taking responsibility for building the profile of the Program Management community through content and initiatives
  • Constantly seeking new and innovative ways to develop the work and your program teams
  • Confidentially making program decisions and build a persuasive rationale for them, bringing others along the decision-making process
  • Identifying opportunities to grow the program beyond the current job while demonstrating exponential value to the client
  • Partnering with more senior clients as their direct contact, helping to build a tight-knit relationship between their team and Wolff Olins Principals and Seniors
  • Guiding and motivate people around you—both colleagues and clients—working to earn their respect and trust to ensure there’s symbiosis that will produce great work

You will have

  • an acumen for scoping complex programs, managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and understanding legal contracts (MSA, NDA, licensing)
  • the ability to see the macro view, and the micro. Balancing day-to-day project deliverables and connecting clients to the internal resources they need, always independently prioritizing the workload
  • proven experience managing client engagements in high-stress scenarios
  • Experience in managing a mix of brand and technology projects across clients, both B2B and B2C

You should have

  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • an ability to be articulate and assertive in presenting work and facilitating workshops alongside teammates
  • an active interest in contributing to the deeper strategic and creative conversations in a way that will build and push the work
