I am a Creative Director with a strong passion for comprehensive brand design and strategic thinking, striving to develop design systems that bring strategy to life in the most compelling, unexpected and impactful ways. As the coach of the design community in New York, I am looking out for growth and development of the team and serve as a mentor across most projects in the studio.
My path started as an intern at Wolff Olins in 2007 and spans over 12 years working in New York, London, Dubai and Germany, on and off with Wolff Olins for the most part, and with Peter Schmidt Group and Interbrand in Germany. I’ve collaborated with brands like AOL, Microsoft, Google, Firefox OS, Nixon Peabody and Deutsche Telekom, and more recently 3M, Zocdoc, Grubhub and Buck. The work has been recognized by AIGA, Cannes, One Show, Clio and the German Design Council, among others.
I hold a German Diploma degree in Communication Design from the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, and finished my studies there with my thesis project »Descryptor« — a utility to capture and visualize personality traits in 2010.
