I joined Wolff Olins as an Accountant in 2005, and spent the next year juggling numbers in our New York office. I’ve since put down the calculator, transferred to London and turned my hand to writing.
What I love about this work is the challenge of sculpting words into simple, impactful and relevant forms. There’s always another way to say something. My Economics degree doesn’t get used so much these days, but I’m okay with that.
Outside of work, I listen to a ton of music. Well, I do this inside work also, since I’m often at the controls of the office stereo. But happiness for me is cooking while under the spell of a cracking album, or mix. The secret is in lining up a good hour of music before you start peeling the onion.
Other extra-marital affairs include playing football, cycling, reading, travel-writing and making music.
